Hotel Food Tips
We’re headed out for a travel tournament this week, and trust me—packing smart snacks and meals is a total game changer when you’re living out of a hotel room. Thankfully, our hotel has a kitchenette (praise hands!), so I stocked up on tournament-ready foods to save us from fast food traps and endless snack bar runs.
Here’s what I packed after a Costco haul:
- Bite-sized pancakes (perfect for quick breakfasts)
- Portioned-out chicken strips (protein made easy)
- Protein shakes (a fast fuel-up)
- Microwave popcorn (for hotel movie nights)
- Egg bites (quick, protein-packed breakfasts)
- Powdered CELSIUS

Once we get to our destination, I’ll hit Walmart for fresh fruit and veggies—because balance! Oh, and I premade 10 turkey sandwiches. Yes, 10. Because nothing beats grabbing a ready-made sandwich between games.
Of course, we’ll join in for any pizza parties or team dinners, but these essentials help us stay fueled without the chaos. Prepping even a little makes tournament life way easier.
